Hints and tips
PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT AND WE HOPE YOU ENJOY PRACTICING BOSSING YOUR SPIN!
Do watch the video on using the Veckta. Although it is inituitive there are differences between using a Veckta and using a sidearm.
Also note that the Veckta is designed and tested for use on Astro.

When you first receive your Veckta take a little time to learn how best to use it. Rather than holding the Veckta with your thumb straight down the back, rotate the Veckta a little inwards. Be ready to experiment with the rotation of the Veckta in your grip as this makes all the difference.
Initially throw the ball slowly from a standing position, with your opposite leg forward. Throw with your elbow under your hand, as if you were hammering a nail inot a wall or throwing a dart, and focus on letting the ball come out of the launcher with an upright ridge. You don't need and big wind up and throw and try not to snap your wrist like you would with a Sidearm.
At first don't worry about pace and bounce. Just try to land the ball on a length with the ridge upright. The ball will turn, although not everytime. Once you can do this you can add pace by throwing harder or stepping into the throwing action. With the pace, bounce will come.
If your natural throw has the ridge is pointing more towards the slips than the stumps, rotate the Veckta clockwise in your hand slightly. Use the ridges at the top of the handle as a guide. If the ridge is pointing at fine leg then rotate the Veckta a little anticlockwise in your hand.
If you want to get some drift on the ball slightly rotate the launcher in your hand so the ridge points at either first slip or fine leg.
If the ball wobbles in the air you might find rotating Veckta helps. Some people need to turn the handle as much as forty-five degrees in their grip just to get the ball to come out straight. Some experimentation might be needed. Watch the ridge as you launch the ball and practice getting it upright and pointing straight. Then practice hitting a length.
Don't throw the Veckta around as that might damage the C-cup. If the C-cup does get bent then gently bend it back into a position that will lightly grip the ball.
Don't use the C-cup of the veckta as a hook to hang the Veckta; you'll stretch the plastic. If you want to hang the Veckta put a loop of string through the hole in the handle and hang using that.
